Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I went here after a night shift for breakfast. It has a nice aesthetic and is a great day time meeting spot. The food was good with a good variety for a coffee shop on the menu. The waitrons were very attentive and the food arrived quickly"
"It's a great spot to meet up with a friend, with a chilled vibe and a great atmosphere. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. However, the place is quite small with limited tables. Overall, the waiters were friendly and recommended a great meal from the menu."
"Finally took a quick drive down the road to have brunch. Was surprised at tue location since im familiar with the area. We started off with an Iced Coffee as well as the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Followed by their spicy wings. The sauce reminded me alot of when you make noodles the proper way (eg yolk, mayo etc into a bowl and whisked) - For mains went with the current weekday special - Block Burger, skinny fries and a soda for R90 which is a steal, we also went with the Chicken Jalapeño Popper burger (YES YOU HEARD RIGHT! A JALAPEÑO POPPER BURGER!) - Overall pleased with the location, and definitely thought the food was different (in a good way) it wasn’t your typical wings or burgers. Will definitely return soon to try other items on the menu. - Location is away from the business of Florida Road - We went on the hottest day this week so flies were bothering me but the waitress did bring us a chaffer gel to deter them."
"Food was really delicious Service was a bit slow but friendly and helpful. They get quite busy but don't overcrowd. They also have fun activities like cake decorating and painting."
"Lovely cafe with great food. Definately pick a day when its not raining lol as space is a little limited inside. There is a wait time after placing orders unfortunately but the food is definately worth it. They are Halal."
"A tasteful and family-friendly spot to chill :) Neat and spacious indoor and outdoor areas, with a light and airy feel. Small playground for younger children that is close to, and fully visible from, all outdoor tables, for parental peace of mind. Play equipment: modest swing and slide combo, with climbing equipment. Board games are available. A lovely place!"
"My family, friends & I had coffee & dessert at this cute little cafe. The decor is minimalist, but lovely. Our coffee was great & presentation of the drinks & cakes were great. The viral Dubai kunefa cheesecake was delicious. Service was good, although our waitress was not completely sure about what was available & what the cheesecake entailed. I spotted some board games on the side which I think would make an entertaining addition to a group outing."
"I absolutely enjoyed my food. I had a lovely late lunch. The drink was amazing and the best part of the meal had to be the San Sebastian cheesecake, it’s absolutely divine. The waiters kept checking up on me and I appreciated that. I however had to ask for pasta toppings and was not offered salt and pepper with my meal. This isn’t a deal breaker for me but I think these things should be available without having to ask. I’m definitely coming back ."
